Kia America kicked off 2025 with a record-breaking January, achieving sales of 57,007 units, a 12% increase from the same month last year.
Key models including the Forte/K4, EV6, Carnival, Telluride, and Sportage posted all-time January sales highs, with Forte/K4 up by 29% and EV6 by 27%. Retail sales also climbed 10%, continuing the company’s double-digit growth momentum.
Kia’s robust lineup of SUVs and electrified vehicles played a central role in its success, bolstered by customer enthusiasm for new offerings like the K4 and the award-winning EV9. In addition to strong sales, Kia announced charitable contributions, including $250,000 to support California wildfire relief efforts and $100,000 raised through concerts.
Eric Watson, Kia’s VP of Sales Operations, credits the brand’s innovative mix of ICE, hybrid, and electric models for maintaining its growth trajectory.
