Harbinger, a leading e-truck manufacturer, announced over $400 million in pre-orders for its innovative electric vehicle chassis at the ACT Expo trade event.
Key customers include Bimbo Bakeries USA, THOR Industries, Mail Management Services, and several major commercial vehicle dealers, totaling 4,000 binding orders.
This milestone follows Harbinger’s recent $73 million Series A funding round, one of the largest for a hardware company, supported by JumpStart Ventures and the Coca-Cola System Sustainability Fund. Harbinger aims to leverage these funds to scale manufacturing and begin production in late 2024.
“Demand for our medium-duty electric vehicles outpaces supply, underscoring the market’s need for innovative, clean transportation solutions,” said John Harris, CEO of Harbinger. “Our ground-up electric platform ensures superior performance and safety.”
Harbinger’s dealer network now covers 78% of the U.S. and Canadian populations, further supporting the rollout of its electric trucks. The company’s platform, featuring scalable battery capacity and advanced safety systems, is designed for various applications, including delivery vans, RVs, and emergency vehicles.
