Dodge has announced the extension of its partnership with Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) in the NHRA Mission Drag Racing Series.
This collaboration will continue to feature two nitro-burning entries, a Top Fuel car driven by Tony Stewart and a Funny Car driven by reigning champion Matt Hagan.
Since the partnership began in 2022, TSR has achieved 15 NHRA national event wins, with Hagan capturing the 2023 Funny Car championship. Leah Pruett, who placed third in the 2023 Top Fuel standings, stepped down this year to start a family, with Stewart taking her place.
“Dodge is thrilled to extend our partnership with Tony Stewart Racing,” said Matt McAlear, Dodge brand CEO. “Their success and dedication align perfectly with our brand’s legacy.”
TSR’s performance continues to impress, with Hagan securing two Funny Car wins in 2024 and Stewart making strides in Top Fuel competition. The partnership aims to set new standards in NHRA racing, enhancing both performance and fan engagement.
