Hyundai Motor America has appointed Claudia Márquez as Chief Operating Officer (COO), making her responsible for the company’s U.S. commercial operations, including sales, distribution, product line management, and aftersales activities.
Reporting to Randy Parker, CEO of Hyundai and Genesis Motor North America, Márquez will oversee dealer network development and drive customer-focused growth strategies.
Márquez previously served as COO of Genesis Motor North America, where she led record-breaking sales and established Genesis as one of the fastest-growing luxury brands. Before that, as CEO of Hyundai Motor Mexico, she boosted sales and strengthened dealer relations. Márquez’s extensive career also includes key roles at Nissan, Infiniti, BMW Group Mexico, and MINI Mexico.
