Samson Sky introduces an updated, streamlined design for its Switchblade flying car, advancing closer to production with improved performance and easier manufacturing.

This streamlined model, built to enhance aerodynamics and simplify production, merges successful test vehicle features with improvements targeting efficiency and performance. CEO Sam Bousfield highlighted that this redesign—validated through wind tunnel testing at a target speed of 160 mph—brings the company closer to meeting the demand from reservation holders in 57 countries.

The Switchblade, a hybrid electric, street-legal flying sports car, according to it creators, transitions seamlessly between road and sky. It can achieve 125 mph on the ground anda reach 500-mile flights, transforming from car to plane within minutes. With three test vehicles planned over the next 18 months, Samson Sky is accelerating towards production, reinforcing its position in the futuristic market of flying cars.
