A new study by Geotab Inc. reveals that 68% of U.S. fleet professionals say stress negatively affects their driving, highlighting a growing need for better driver support programs.

The study also found that 86% of drivers believe road accident risks have increased in the last five years, while 60% cite traffic congestion as a major challenge. Additionally, 76% of drivers report frequently seeing others using mobile phones while driving.

High turnover rates, rising operating costs, and safety concerns point to the urgent need for stress management strategies and enhanced driver training.

“The future of transportation depends on a thriving workforce,” said Vik Sridhar, Product Leader at Geotab. Investing in driver wellbeing is essential for both safety and business success.
