Hyundai Motor America announced its best-ever November sales in 2024, with 76,008 units sold—an 8% increase from 2023. Retail sales surged by 15%, driven by remarkable growth in electrified vehicles: EV retail sales climbed 77%, and hybrid sales soared 104%.
The IONIQ 5 had its best month ever, with sales up 110%, alongside record performances from the Santa Fe HEV (+64%), Tucson HEV (+227%), and Elantra N (+140%). Hyundai’s electrified lineup saw total sales rise 92% year-over-year.
“Our diverse lineup continues to attract customers, especially EVs and hybrids,” said Randy Parker, Hyundai Motor America CEO.
Hyundai also introduced the all-new U.S.-built IONIQ 9, a three-row electric SUV, set to launch next year. With these results, Hyundai reinforces its position as a leader in electrification and innovation within the auto industry.
