InductEV, a leader in high-power wireless EV charging, has announced that Tesla’s Robotaxi will feature inductive wireless charging, a notable milestone for the industry.
InductEV’s technology, which supports up to 450 kW of power, has already been deployed in commercial transport since 2017. Tesla’s adoption of wireless charging highlights the growing acceptance of this solution across the EV landscape.
InductEV has been advancing electric mobility with its on-route wireless charging technology, currently used in projects like Seattle’s Sound Transit and Volvo’s wireless-charging taxi fleet in Sweden. With 116 patents, InductEV notes that it is leading the charge in creating a cleaner, more efficient future for electric vehicles.
