The Coats Company has introduced a new digital resource aimed at helping automotive shops prepare for the installation of new alignment systems.
The Aligner Pre-Install Checklist and accompanying video guide streamline the pre-installation process, ensuring facilities are properly set up for successful alignment system integration.
Kyle Harris, Sr. Product Manager for Coats, highlighted the common issue of shops being unprepared for aligner installs. “Many shops either aren’t ready to start doing alignments or have existing racks that need repairs before a new aligner is installed,” he noted.
The checklist addresses potential problems such as facility spacing, obstruction removal, alignment rack leveling, and turnplate conditions.
“We want to eliminate downtime and ensure accurate alignment readings for our customers,” said Brett Baranaukas, Associate Product Manager for Coats. The new tool aims to enhance the customer experience, whether for seasoned professionals or those new to alignment work.
