XCMG Machinery has launched the EHSL552F, a hydrogen fuel cell dump truck, advancing its renewable energy fleet.
Equipped with a 120kW hydrogen fuel cell and high-power battery system, the EHSL552F can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 99.3 kilograms daily, targeting large-scale transportation projects like mining.
The EHSL552F integrates advanced technology, offering a 6-speed gearbox and significant chassis clearance for challenging terrains. It employs optimized materials and processes, reducing weight by 200kg without sacrificing strength. Designed for over 1.5 million kilometers, it also promises lower maintenance costs.
Enhanced algorithms improve driving comfort and stability, while the upgraded cabin boasts both interior and exterior enhancements. The vehicle meets EU ECE R29 crash safety standards.
XCMG has been pioneering hydrogen energy research since 2021, developing 16 hydrogen equipment models. This launch follows notable collaborations, including a recent agreement to develop the world’s first 240-ton hydrogen mining dump truck.
